Exploration & Staking Services

Specializing in early-stage exploration, we offer a comprehensive range of ground-based services. Explore what we offer below to find out how we can help.

Geochemical Sampling

All samples collected are labelled, bagged and logged with GPS coordinates and field observations, before being shipped to the lab for analysis.

Soil Sampling

Soil sampling is one of the most cost-effective tools in early-stage mineral exploration. Our team collects B and C horizon samples to 1.2m depth using hand augers, systematically working along ridge-and-spur lines or defined grids to build a detailed geochemical picture of the project area. By targeting the right horizons and maintaining consistent sampling depth, we produce reliable data that helps geologists accurately define the size, shape, and orientation of a potential deposit.

Till Sampling

Till sampling takes advantage of Canada’s glacial history to guide exploration. By collecting samples to 1.2m depth using hand augers or shovels, we analyze the geochemical and mineralogical signatures within glacial till to trace dispersal trains back up-ice. It’s a proven, low-impact technique particularly well-suited to Canada’s glaciated terrain.

Silt Sampling

Stream sediment samples are collected from active creeks and drainages using a trowel or shovel and passed through a mesh sieve to remove coarse material and retain the finest sediment. Because a single sample can represent the geochemistry of an entire upstream drainage basin, it’s a cost-effective reconnaissance technique for rapidly identifying and prioritizing targets.

Biogeochemical Sampling

Biogeochemical sampling is an emerging part of our exploration services. By collecting plant material from carefully selected indicator species, we capture trace metals drawn up through root systems from depth, offering an additional layer of detection that complements conventional sampling programs. As we continue to develop this program, we remain focused on delivering professional, reliable results.

Geological Services

Trenching

We utilize a helicopter-portable, minimum-impact excavator purpose-built for remote mineral exploration. This allows us to access challenging terrain that traditional equipment simply can’t reach, while keeping our environmental footprint as small as possible. All helicopter operations are conducted by an experienced team trained in sling load procedures and pad cutting, ensuring every lift and landing is carried out safely and efficiently in even the most remote terrain.

Channeling Sampling

We offer channel sampling as part of our growing suite of exploration services. By cutting a continuous groove along exposed rock faces and collecting the resulting chips, we provide reliable grade data to help clients and geologists evaluate a project’s potential. Our team is dedicated to delivering consistent, professional results as we develop and grow this program.

Line Cutting

We provide line cutting services to support a range of exploration programs. Our trained chainsaw operators clear narrow, straight corridors through vegetation with precision and efficiency, ensuring survey equipment performs accurately while keeping ground disturbance to an absolute minimum. Safety is never an afterthought, our team operates to the strict standards that remote chainsaw work demands.

Claim Staking

Quartz

Accurate, compliant claim staking is the foundation of any successful exploration program. Our team is experienced in Yukon quartz claim staking procedures, placing physical posts and tags in full accordance with the Yukon Quartz Mining Act. Every claim we stake is precisely positioned and thoroughly documented, giving clients confidence that their ground is properly secured and their titles will stand up to regulatory and legal review.

Placer

Placer claim staking demands precision and a detailed understanding of Yukon regulatory requirements. Our team is well-versed in the Yukon Placer Mining Act, placing physical posts with accuracy and care to ensure every claim is correctly established and thoroughly documented. Clients can trust that their placer ground is properly secured and their titles are built to withstand regulatory and legal scrutiny.

Assessment Work

Keeping claims active in the Yukon requires consistent, compliant assessment work submitted in accordance with Yukon Quartz and Placer Mining Act requirements. Our team is experienced in planning and executing a broad range of qualifying programs designed to meet assessment obligations efficiently and cost-effectively, giving clients peace of mind that their claims are properly maintained and their ground is never at risk of lapsing.
